In case you can not find our driver, Please take a look around for the Meeting Point: Gate A1 at International Arrival Gate. Then just standing there for a few minutes, I will contact our driver and tell him to go straight there to pick you up.

The journey to the city center will take up to 40 minutes, where our driver will bring you to your hotel.

NOTE: Hanoi Old Quarter will be blocked during 3 nights on the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Our driver will drop you at the nearest area where you can walk a few minutes to your hotel.

20:30 – 21:00, our guide or operator will come to your hotel to take you to the train station. He/She will also hand you the tickets

The sleeper trains throughout Vietnam are quite comfortable and an experience on its own. It’s a rocky ride!. We booked a tourist train with  Dream Train Express. In this option with a berth in a 4-berth cabin, each of you will have your own sleeper berth. All bedding is provided. The train cabin is air-conditioned and has Sapa local style, your luggage can be stored under the berth. Though restaurant carriage is not available, food and drinks are not available for purchase.

SP3: Depart Hanoi – Lao Cai: (22:00 – 05:55) 

Important: The bunk berths are pretty comfortable, but if you’re over 6 foot (1.83cm) you won’t be able to fully stretch out, if you are over 6 foot or (1.85cm) you might pull your legs a bit, however the ride is comfortable but it can be noisy of the train track is a bit bumpy ride.

6:00AM, our car will pick you up from Lao Cai station to our office in Sapa for storing your luggage. Then the guide will take you to a restaurant for breakfast.

The tour starts at 08:00 pm. We will be driving to visit Love Waterfall, we will then walk about 1.1 km along the Golden River to visit Love Waterfall.

After returning to Tram Ton Pass. We will visit the Silver Waterfall, we will visit this waterfall about 25 minutes. With the height of 200m high and playing the role of the upstream of Muong Hoa Stream, the white water flowing of Silver Falls Sapa falls down the stream all year round. After visit the waterfall, we will be back to Sapa town.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free at leisure.

The tour starts at 9 am. After a brief introduction, you will be taken 2km down to Cat Cat’s road, a well-known village of the Hmong minority. From there, you will be reaching the hanging bridge of Muong Hoa river and then continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest.

From there, you will get the chance to admire some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam as well as enjoy the majestic mountain view on top of the Hoang Lien Son mountain.

You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant ran by a local Hmong family.

After lunch, we will make our way to Lao Chai, where is Hmong village – one of the oldest and largest Hmong communities in the area.

From Lao Chai, we will walk to Ta Van Village, where we will stay overnight, mostly inhabited by the Giay and Hmong ethnic minorities. If it is the right time of the year, you can see the people planting rice or harvesting it. We will teach you all about the differences between ethnic minority groups.

Back to Sapa for overnight stay.

06:30 Morning Bus Sapa – Ha Giang (Limousine)

This Limousine bus will pick you up from your hotel in Sapa Town and drop you off at our office in Ha Giang.

The journey takes around +/- 6 hours. We will stop on the way 01 or 02 times for some drink or just to straighten your leg and to go to the toilet.

Note: 

• Prepare some snacks to take with you and enjoy on the way.
• Lunch will be served upon arrival at our meeting point in Ha Giang.

Around 13:00 – Arrive in Ha Giang and drop off at our office. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

14:00 – We will take you to your homestay in Ban Bang Village, a picturesque rural village, where you will be welcomed by your local Tay ethnic family.

19:00 – Be sure to be back at your homestay at 19:00 to enjoy a delicious traditional meal with your host family and fellow travellers. Sit back, relax, and exchange stories and experiences as the crisp Ha Giang night air washes over you.

Take some time here to enjoy a refreshment while you absorb the panoramic vistas that stretch beneath the open sky—a perfect backdrop for memorable photos.

Descending from Heaven Gate, you’ll make another stop to explore a popular local viewpoint that allows you to appreciate the beauty of the Twin Mountains. These two symmetrical mountains provide a striking contrast against the landscape, enhancing the visual allure of your journey.

As the drive continues, you’ll pass through several ethnic minority villages. These communities offer a peek into the diverse cultural tapestry of Ha Giang, where traditions are preserved and daily life remains deeply connected to the land.

Soon after, you will approach Tham Ma Pass, famous for its picturesque S-shaped winding road that offers a thrilling driving experience. The curves of the road are a highlight for photography enthusiasts and provide a delightful challenge for drivers.

Further along, the journey takes you over Chin Khoanh Pass, also known as the 9 ramp pass due to its series of sharp turns that test the prowess of any driver. The pass offers exhilarating views and a sense of adventure as you navigate its tight bends.

Your route will guide you through the enchanting Sung La Valley next. The valley is dotted with traditional houses and vibrant communities, nestled amidst landscapes that have been cultivated for centuries. The deep connection between the people and their land here is palpable and enriches your travel experience.

A visit to the Hmong King Palace is scheduled towards the end of your day’s journey. This historic site gives insight into the local leadership during the French colonial era and stands as a testament to the region’s rich history.

The day concludes as you arrive in Dong Van, a charming town with an inviting old quarter. The evening is yours to explore this delightful area, where local cuisine and craft shops offer a gentle and relaxing end to an exhilarating day of travel and exploration.

Begin the day with a cultural immersion at the Dong Van Sunday Market, if your tour aligns with a Sunday. This vibrant marketplace is not just a trading venue for local products and animals but also a lively display of local traditions and colorful ethnic attire, providing a deep dive into the local culture.

After exploring the market, the journey heads north towards Lung Cu, offering a drive through one of the most scenic stretches of the Ha Giang Loop. The road to Vietnam’s northernmost point is framed by breathtaking mountain vistas, providing numerous opportunities for photo stops. 

Depending on the schedule, you may also have the chance to visit villages along the way, where you can see the traditional yellow clay houses unique to the area’s ethnic minorities.

Your next significant stop is Lung Cu Flag Tower, situated on a prominent hill. Climbing to the tower rewards you with 360-degree views of the surrounding landscapes, encompassing rugged mountains and lush valleys that extend into China—a proud symbol of Vietnamese sovereignty.

Returning towards Meo Vac, you’ll traverse the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most dramatic and celebrated routes in Vietnam. Take your time driving over the pass, stopping to capture the stunning scenery with your camera. For those interested in a closer look, a short trek along the Ma Pi Leng Skywalk offers breathtaking perspectives of the deep gorges below.

Optionally, enhance your experience with a boat ride on the Nho Que River through Ma Pi Leng Canyon, providing a unique vantage point of the towering cliffs and the serene river that cuts through them.

The day’s journey ends as you reach Meo Vac, where you can relax and take in the experiences of an exhilarating day filled with cultural insights and natural beauty.

Your final day begins in Meo Vac, and should it be a Sunday, you won’t want to miss the largest ethnic minority market in Ha Giang right in the town. The market is a lively and colorful place where local people engage in the traditional trade of goods and livestock, offering a unique cultural experience.

After departing Meo Vac, your route takes you through picturesque settings lined with small ethnic villages that showcase traditional lifestyles preserved over generations.

One of the highlights of today’s journey is the M-shape viewpoint. Stop here to soak in the expansive views of the region’s striking landscapes before you continue your travels.

Driving further, you’ll notice a gradual change in the scenery as the rocky mountains give way to greener, more lush environments. The area around Mau Due is particularly beautiful, with terraced rice fields cascading down the hills, creating a spectacular sight especially from May to September.

Depending on time, you have two route options to return to Ha Giang. The quicker route brings you through quieter parts of the region to Quang Ba. If time allows, you might choose to drive along the scenic route through the rice fields and traditional Tay villages of Du Gia, enhancing your return with stunning countryside views before concluding your tour back in Ha Giang.

We will be back in Ha Giang around 16:00 PM. Then take a limousine bus back to Hanoi. Arriving in Hanoi around 22:00. 

Going by luxury touring coach bus from Ha Giang to Hanoi in a Limousine bus with your own soft coach seat. 

Have a short break in 30 minutes then continue as we don’t have a toilet on board!

Note: Please kindly be advised a door-to-door drop off service is not available over the weekends for those who stay in the Old Quarter area  due to local authority order’s street closure. You will be dropped off at the nearest venue that can be accessible by walking distance to your hotel.

07.45 – 8:30: Our luxury limousine or shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and start your trip to explore the most amazing bay in the North of Vietnam. On the way, we will have a quick stop in the middle of the way to rest.

12.30: Arrive in our waiting lounge at Ha Long international cruise port, you will have a bit of time to relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. Wait for our captain to finish the registration and transfer by tender to our boat.

12.45: Enjoy a welcome drink and spend a couple of minutes briefing about safety on the boat and activities included then we check in our cabin.

13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.

15.00: Arrive in the kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing.

17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys our Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.

19.00: Sumptuous set dinner on board.

20.30: Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

06.30: Start early Tai Chi demonstration on sundeck.

07.30: Breakfast will be served in Western style and furthermore with Vietnamese traditional food.

08.00: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave and enjoy a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island. Our tour guide will provide some interesting stories of Ha Long Bay and this Cave, made by Mother Nature.

09.00: Back to the boat to pack and check out of your cabin. Prepare to join in our traditional cooking demonstration.

10.30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat.

11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

12.00: Disembark at Ha Long international cruise port

15.00: Arrive in Ninh Binh. Trip ends.

09.30: Pick up at your hotel.

10.15: Arrive Mua cave, then you hike to the mountain and take in sweeping views of Tam Coc town and Ninh Binh city. Then, join a bike ride to see the rural area’s natural beauty and the distinctive limestone mountain system found in the Karst region.

(Cycling is optional, can stay in the van or rent a motorbike with a private driver to visit the local farmer’s house)

11.30: You visit a local farmer’s home and have traditional tea and candies as a warm greeting. Be widen knowledgeable about the main business, VAC (Gardern-Pond-Cage) and about a typical farmer’s life in Vietnam. Additionally, you will comprehend the Vietnamese family’s worshiping culture better.

12.00: Having lunch with Vietnamese cuisine.

13.30: Discover Trang An – World Natural Heritage on Sampan boat, enjoy the beauty of caves, limes stone mountain on river – which is called Ha Long Bay on land.

15.30: Visit Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, and the shrine dedicated to its first emperor.

16.15: Go back to your hotel in Ninh Binh.

20:30, our car pick you up to Ninh Binh train station.

SE19: Depart Ninh Binh – Hue: (22:00 – 09:10)

At 09:10 am : Pick you up at the train station for the city tour
Get on the dragon boat to Thien Mu pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda) – the oldest pagoda in Hue city. ( 30 mins)
At 10.30 am: Visit The Citadel – Imperial city is the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
Visit Dong Ba market – the busiest market in Hue with various kinds of foods and goods.
At 13:00 pm: Lunch at a local Restaurant
At about 14.30 pm: Visit Khai Dinh Tomb – which is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture
At 15.30 pm: Visit Minh Mang Tomb – considered as the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs.
At 17:30 pm: Drop off at your hotel/stay in Hue city center.

8:00 a.m: Our car and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue City Center and transfer to Hoi An. On the way to Hoi An, he will show you some sights such as Lap An Lagoon, Oyster fishing village, Lang Co beach, Hai Van Pass. You will have time to stop to relax and take photos there.

Our driver will wait for you at the parking area till you come back.
After visiting the Marble Mountains, our driver will take you to your hotel in Hoi an and say goodbye.

At 9 am : Our car and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi an and transfer to visit Cam Thanh Coconut village.

Experience a basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community.

About 11 am-12 pm: Enjoy lunch

Then the car takes you to Hoi an Ancient town – one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupation period.

You will visit Chinese Communal House, Tan Ky Merchants’ Houses, Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi an market,..and learn about the daily life of Hoi an local people.

After Hoi an, we will take you back to your hotel. Say goodbye and end the tour.

At 7:45 am – 8:00 am: Pick up at your hotel in Hoi An center and depart to Bana Hills
Take your time and explore the Golden Bridge and Bana Hills on your own.
At 15:00: Our car and driver will take you back to the hotel.

Our car will pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An to Danang airport 2 hours before the flight time.

Take a flight from Danang to Can Tho with Vietnam Airlines around noon time.

When you arrive in Can Tho airport, our car will wait to transfer you to your hotel in Can Tho.

20:30, our car pick you up to Ninh Binh train station.

SE19: Depart Ninh Binh – Dong Hoi : (22:00 – 06:05)

6:02am: Our car will pick you up from Dong Hoi train station to your hotel for breakfast and have a shower.

At 8:30 – 09:00 a.m: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Dong Hoi city and depart to Phong Nha town.

After 45 minutes, we will arrive at Phong Nha town to visit Paradise cave – the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone, 25km about Phong Nha cave, 75 km about Dong Hoi and 1h20 minutes driving)at the rest of the day.

At 12:30 pm: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village before exploring National Park in the afternoon

At 01:30 – 04:30 p.m: Leave Paradise cave,  we transfer to explore the most impressive Phong Nha cave (50 km about the city, 45 minutes driving).

We will take a boat to cruise on Son river. While on the boat you will see the greenfield, people, houses and limestone along the river. After 25 minutes on the boat, visitors will arrive at Phong Nha cave, take a couple of hours to see the cave. This cave is a water cave and famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.

At 05:00 – 05:30 p.m: Go back to Dong Hoi or drop off at Phong Nha. Ends of tour

7:00am, we will depart from Hue city.

Hopping on car, we keep going to Dong Ha city. On the way, you will pass by the Gio Linh base or Doc Mieu firebase – one of the strongest point of the Defensive McNamara Line.

We continue the tour to Highway 9 National Cemetery where buried more than 10.000 martyrs serving the war along Highway 9.

Not finish yet, your adventure to the West will stop at another famous site – Khe Sanh Combat Base where holds the longest single battle of the Vietnam war fought in 1968 during the Tet Offensive.

Drive all the way back to Dong Ha. Lunch break in Dong Ha city. Take your time to discover the gastronomical delight of Quang Tri province.

After that, we continue onto Hien Luong bridge (aka DMZ bridge, Freedom bridge) crossing Ben Hai river right at 17th parallel. Here you will see frontline flagpole, border police memorial, 17th parallel museum and walk across the bridge to see the National Aspiration for Reunification on the southern bank of the Ben Hai river.

Then we stop at Vinh Moc tunnel. At Vinh Moc tunnel, you will have ample time to watch a documentary (if requested), take a look at the museum and then go underground to experience the village underneath with family rooms, maternity room, meeting room, air vent, exits to the sea, …

Our driver will take you to your accommodation in Phong Nha. Tour ends.

8:00am, we will depart from Phong Nha heading South towards Hue city. The DMZ tour starts with the first stop at Vinh Moc tunnel. At Vinh Moc tunnel, you will have ample time to watch a documentary (if requested), take a look at the museum and then go underground to experience the village underneath with family rooms, maternity room, meeting room, air vent, exits to the sea, …

After that, we continue onto Hien Luong bridge (aka DMZ bridge, Freedom bridge) crossing Ben Hai river right at 17th parallel.
